Apart from renting audio-video equipment via www.edisonradio.com, we also have a small band of four – guitar, tabla/drums, violin & bass. The essence of our music content is playing raga based popular Indian Film songs. We first play the actual raga and a classical song based on that raga. We then morph into a film tune based on that raga. Most of our film songs are tuned by the man I almost worship, Ilayaraja.
We have not been floored with bookings but who ever has heard us have good things to say. I guess we have not marketed this idea and till date we don’t have a decent video of our performance. Something or another comes by and we miss out recording a professional quality video.
Hopefully, we will be able to record our next show and showcase it on a website.
